200RD Multi-Fold Door Hardware

Johnson's 200RD Multi-folding or Room Dividing Door Hardware is designed to carry heavy door panels in residential or light commercial interior applications. The 200RD is 'top hung' hardware, all door weight is suspended from the top track therefore does not require any bottom tracking. The 200RD allows door panels to be removed or installed without dropping the track. The 200RD features a heavy duty I-beam track with positive pivot lock, four-wheeled ball-bearing hanger guides, heavy duty adjustable bottom pivot and a floor bracket with an adjustable bottom pivot socket. Track lengths are available up to 16'.

200RD Ordering Instructions

200RD Multi-Fold Hardware are configured according to application, in effect you build the 200RD to suit your particular installation requirements. 200RD Base Sets and Add-On Sets DO NOT include Panel hinges. Follow the steps below to build your 200RD hardware set. NOTE: 200RD Base Sets and Add-On Sets DO NOT include Panel hinges. Architectural quality hinges are available at the bottom of this page.

Step 1. Order Track to Desired Length

• In standard applications track is usually ordered in lengths that at least equal the overall opening width. Johnson Hardware recommends that single track lengths be used whenever possible to avoid door hangers passing over track splices during operation. Track splicing is acceptable only if hanger wheels DO NOT pass over the splice. If multiple track lengths are to be used in a single opening, ensure that track and door panels are positioned so that no door hanger/guide passed over track splice. Track mounting screws not included with track, screws are included with part sets below.

Step 2. Order Base Set A

• Base Hardware Set A contains all the pivots, brackets, hangers and mounting screws to hang the 1st pair of panels from a single jamb. Order base hardware set A (2015BS-A) for the first pair of panels off jamb as indicated. Order 1 base set A when all panels operate from a single direction. Order 2 base sets A's when panels will operate from two directions, converging panels that meet in the middle of the opening. NOTE: Panel hinges are NOT included in Base Set A Hardware Sets. Johnson Hardware offers ball bearing mortise hinges in standard finishes that meet the maximum panel weight below. If you use other hinges, consult hinge manufacturer for weight limitations.

Step 3. Order Add-On Set B

• Order one add-on hardware set B (2002PLBG) for every pair of panels after Base Set A as indicated. NOTE: Panel hinges are NOT included in Base Set B Hardware Sets. Johnson Hardware offers ball bearing mortise hinges in standard finishes that meet the maximum panel weight below. If you use other hinges, consult hinge manufacturer for weight limitations.
