The 1500SC Series Pocket Door Frame is designed to soft-open and soft-close heavy solid core doors weighing up to 200lbs. Smooth ball bearing hanger wheels combined with soft-closing door operation make the 1500SC one of the finest pocket door installations available. The 1500SC is designed to be quickly installed into prepared 2 x 4 timber frame stud walls however, the 1500SC can also be adapted for use in various wall thicknesses and with various wall materials and structures. The 1500SC Frame Kit is packaged for easy transport and fast installation for either single or converging (2) door applications and all frame sizes can be cut down to accommodate custom size doors.

1500SC Series Pocket Door Frames

Pocket Door Frame kits contain all necessary hardware for a single pocket door installation in a 2x4 stud wall (door, jambs, drywall, door locks, door pulls, hidden pocket door guide kit NOT included). All frames CAN be cut down to fit smaller size door.

How to order the 1500SC Series Pocket Door frame:

For Single Pocket Doors:
1. Determine your door size (door width, door height and door thickness)
2. Select a frame part number that accommodates your door size. Don't see your exact door size? Remember that Johnson frames can be cut down to accommodate any smaller size door. Just order the next larger frame size for your door and follow frame cut down instructions.

For Converging Pocket Doors:
1. Determine your door sizes (door width, door height and door thickness)
2. Select a frame part number that accommodates your door size. Don't see your exact door size? Remember that Johnson frames can be cut down to accommodate smaller size doors. Just order the next larger frame size for your door and cut frame down.
